Citrus Auto Report is an independent local publication covering vehicle buying, ownership, towing, and service in Citrus County, Florida. We are not owned by any dealership, manufacturer, or lender.
How our content is made
Our guides are drafted with the assistance of AI tools and produced under a fixed editorial standard that governs accuracy, tone, and disclosure. Every piece is generated against that standard, checked by automated editorial rules before publication, and subject to human review. We say this plainly because we think readers deserve to know how the words in front of them were made.
What we will never publish
- Fabricated customer experiences, invented testimonials, or fictional first-person buyer stories of any kind.
- Undisclosed paid content. Partner placements are always labeled as such.
- Specific financing terms, payments, or rate advertising. Financing is between you and your lender.
- Attacks on any local business. We publish guidance, not hit pieces.

Advertising and independence
Dealerships and local businesses can purchase clearly labeled featured placement and sponsorships. Advertisers never review, approve, or edit our editorial guides, and factual directory coverage is not for sale — every rooftop in the county gets listed the same way, partner or not.
